'Tis the season to spread a little cheer and treat your friends and family to a little something nice for their kitchen or pantry.

Here are some gifts that I've either gotten myself from people, for people or know that would make a nice gift.

You can find lots of these items on Amazon.com. Or, if the item is from somewhere like cajungrocer.com, I'll give you that info, as well.

First, I want to tell you just how important crispy bacon is to me. VERY! And to make perfectly crisp bacon, that's flat and beautiful, you might want to get a bacon press.

Everyone needs a good mixer. I like the KitchenAid, because it's a workhorse and you can get just about any kind of attachment imaginable. I really like the spiralizer attachment. Then there's the pasta attachment, and the sausage attachment....

Don't forget to have some containers on hand to put your yummy food in. I like these oven safe glass containers with snap locking lids. You can bake things in the containers and reheat in the containers, too!

I'll just leave these little gift ideas here for now. Check back often, because I keep thinking of new things to add.

Know what you're eating!
